ISLAMABAD: The management of Lok Virsa has put the orders of Ministry of Information into doldrums by throwing the orders of Secretary into dustbin and recruited dozens of people for return of the reinstatement of only one person.

The powerful Executive Director of Lok Virsa Dr Fauzia Saeed refused to obey the directives of Secretary Information as well as the Minister and even she did not comply with the court orders.

The terminated government servant, who knocked every door for justice, is forced to visit each and every functionary on daily basis.

Daily Times learnt reliably that a candidate Muhammad Irshad was appointed on the vacant post of Assistant on contractual basis but in November 2105 he was terminated from the service by declaring him daily wages employee.

Irshad, after his termination submitted many applications in his department but in vain. After getting no response from the administration of Lok Virsa , he knocked the door of High Court, which ordered to reinstate him on his post but the ED Lok Virsa did not abide by the orders of the court of law.

Then the affected person approached the Minister of Information Pervez Rashid, who on 9th December, 2015 ordered to restore his job, but the influential Executive Director swallowed too the orders of minister.

Afterwards the Secretary Information on receiving the orders of the court, wrote a official letter to Executive Director Lok Virsa that Irshad may be taken back on his post under the light of High Court’s verdict but the authoritative lady officer had not gave any importance to it.

On the other hand Daily Times has some documented evidences, which pointed up that the number of staff on contract is 53 out of total
66 and dozens of them were recruited after the termination of said employee.

Those who were recruited in the current calendar year are Nagina Sadaf, Rabia Amin, Yasir Nauman, Zain, Maqbool Ahmed, Raees Akhtar, Muhammad Zaheer, Boji, Ahtasham Ahmed, Sohail Murtaza, Haroon Javed, Mushahid Rafiq, Junaid Khan, Abdul Waheed, Arfat Asad, Aamir Waheed, Muhammad Sami, Muhammad Naseer, Mariyam Bibi, Akhtar Mehmood, Ashfaq Khan including two drivers and one security supervisor, where 12 persons were inducted in 2015 on a single fax , but one person was not restored.
