PM to visit Karachi today to review post-rain situation

Prime Minister Imran Khan will arrive in Karachi today (Saturday) on a one-day visit. According to details, Imran Khan is paying one-day visit to Karachi to review the situation developed after recent rain in parts of Karachi. During his visit, the Prime Minister will announce Karachi Transformation Plan and will also make a visit Pakistan Stock Exchange Karachi. PM will also hold meetings with industrialists, businessmen and civil society representatives. Imran Khan will also meet representatives of allied parties as well as Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah. The sources said the prime minister will announce a development package worth Rs1,000 billion for Sindh. It is to mention here that the development package will be spent in three years. Meanwhile, the PM will also announce various development projects such as upgradation of drainage system, elimination of encroachments, and provision of clean drinking water to the residents of Karachi.
