Author: NNI

ISLAMABAD/DUBAI: All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) Chairman General (retd) Pervez Musharraf said that the party was expanding across the country with deep roots in general public and would fully participate the 2018 general elections.

He said this while addressing to the concluding session of APML Global Conference. He said that the present set up had not only disillusioned the common man but it had also alienated the poor people from the system. He said that it was not serving the purpose of human welfare.

He said that he would surely come to Pakistan and the false propaganda against him would die its own death. APML would participate the election 2018 under my captaincy, he added. About Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, he said that if he (Imran) would keep thinking about himself then he would only isolate himself.

APML had organised a 2-day ‘Global Conference’ in Dubai where members of the party’s executive committee and its chapters all across the world participated to discuss major national and international socio-economic conditions in the Pakistan’ perspective.

The party chapters from different countries of the world briefed the participants about the party structures and their functioning in respective countries. Summing up the 2-day sessions’ discussion in a press conference, APML chairman told the media that his party is more expanded, deep rooted and vibrant than before. “We are ready to give a tough fight to our political opponents,” he said.

He said that the present regime had deprived poor people from whatever they had and consequently it had garnered a great amount of hatred not only for itself but for the system also. Present system was not delivering and the level of deprivation kept increasing, he added.

Stressing a need for an effective foreign policy, he said that there were wide spread global changes occurring in all parts of the world. Pakistan needs to evolve an effect foreign policy that may be comprehensive and all-encompassing to avoid alienation in the world, he added.

He lauded the efforts of the APML Secretary General Dr Muhammad Amjad in making the party more vibrant and popular among the masses. He expressed his deep satisfaction over the party’s structural and administrative policies.
