Talking to media on Monday, senior PPP leader said that he is quite confident that people will get rid of this government soon. He was of the view that Imran Khan used to say at his protest demonstrations that Tsunami is coming but PPP was very clear at that time also that Tsunami is meant only for destruction and today PTI government has proved it true. He was of the view that PPP was against the lockdowns and sit-ins staged by Imran Khan and Tahir ul Qadri and it also believes today that sit-ins are not good for the country but protest movements and marches are part of the democracy. Talking about the COVID-19 situation, senior PPP leader said that the virus has been declined because of Allah’s blessing and careful attitude of public but the government is trying to take the credit of controlling it.
In his criticism to the government, Kaira said that this government is a failure at every front contrary to its tall claims of serving the people. This government didn’t come out from the opposition mode as its leaders are still on containers meant to hold protest demonstrations, he said. He further added that the price of every item increases after the notice taken by the Prime Minister as we have seen the prices of sugar, medicines and petrol. In his criticism to Chief Minister Punjab, Kaira said that Usman Buzdar has ruined the largest province of the country. Buzdar was made CM on the personal wish of someone without judging his capabilities, he said. He was of the view that Supreme Court has now made it clear that NAB is involved in political engineering but the PPP was labeled as being against the national institutions when Benazir Bhutto used to say it in the past.
