The district administration has finalized the operation strategy in the light of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s directions, credible sources said on Monday.
In first phase, the law enforcers will launch a grand operation against land grabbers in all sectors of Ghauri Town, Islamabad. Meanwhile, Capital Development Authority (CDA) has also decided to issue fresh notices to the land grabbers in Islamabad. The district administration and police will launch operations against land mafia in BharaKahu, Bani Gala, Tarnol, Golra, Ghauri Town and Sehala areas of Islamabad.
A summary in this regard has been dispatched to the Interior ministry. The summary includes developments in the cases against Ghauri Town land grabbers registered with FIA. In this regard, anti-corruption body had completed all legal formalities pretending to the serious nature of cases against former Architect Chaudhry Abdul Rehman, Ali Akbar and Chaudhry Usman. In second phase, operation would be launched in Bani Gala, Tarnol and Golra areas of Islamabad. A complete file work has been done in this regard.
Moreover, the Koral police have also started a probe into the corruption allegedly committed by the land mafia in Ghauri Town Phase-8. It is to mention here that more files were sold while the number of plots was less in the phase.
The prime minister has once again fixed meeting time with the district administration and police. The police will present a detailed report to the prime minister on the developments.
