Students threaten to protest over closure of free classes

KHYBER AGENCY: The student union leaders have threatened that they would stage a protest if free second shift classes in the government degree collage were not resumed within a period of one week in Landikotal.

While addressing a press conference held at Landikotal Press Club, Landikotal Degree College Students Union President, Shafat Khan Shinwari said that political administration had abandoned second shift classes in the college.

He said that former political agent Mutahir Zeb had started free second shift classes which benefited hundreds of poor students. “Closing second shift classes have put future of 650 poor students at risk”, said Shafat. Shinwari. The student union president threatened that they would stage a protest at Landikotal bazaar if classes were not resumed within one week.
