KOHAT: The death of an Indian woman Ayesha in Kohat still remains shrouded in mystery, as the police were unable to come to a definite conclusion whether it was a case of murder or suicide.
The police investigators believed that Ayesha committed suicide by shooting herself dead on July 28 at KDA area in Kohat. However, the deceased’s husband Abdul Wahid, claimed that it could not be a case of suicide since his wife was happily married to him and there seemed to be no reason for her to take her own life.
Wahid also revealed that 80 tolas gold and Ayesha’s mobile phone were missing from the house after she had died. Ayesha was also supposed to receive her Pakistani citizenship this year, he claimed.
District Police Officer Sohaib Ashraf said that the police would investigate the case from all possible angles and soon the death mystery would be solved.
