LARKANA: A husband gunned down his ex-wife and injured her brother on Thursday in the limits of Civil Lines police station.
According to details, Mashuque Brohi fired shots at a rickshaw which was taking Sughra Pirzado and her brother Mumtaz Pirzado to a court. Both were seriously injured and police rushed them to emergency department of the Chandka Medical College Hospital where she expired and Mumtaz survived.
Police said that the deceased was his ex-wife. She had filed a petition against him. She was going to appear in the court when he attacked her and murdered her. No FIR was lodged till filing of this report.
