Kashmiri Youth celebrates Independence day at IDDDS

A ceremony was held on the auspicious moment of Pakistan Independence Day under the aegis of Institute of Dialogue Development and Diplomatic Studies (IDDDS) here on Friday.

A large number of youngsters including youth representatives of Muzaffarabad, Neelum Valley and Jehlum Valley were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Director IDDDS Dr. Waleed Rasool has said that the struggle of Pakistan was started several decades before the independence in 1947.

Similarly, he said that Youth of Kashmir have to struggle for the freedom of Kashmir as youth living in Azad Jammu and Kashmir are free to raise voice for their brethren in Indian Occupied Kashmir.

Dr. Waleed stated that people in Indian Occupied Kashmir are suffering Indian armed forces atrocities and their resistance against Indian occupation is legitimate according to UN resolutions.

Chairman Scholars Foundation Iftikhar Kazmi on the occasion said that Sir Syed Ahmed Khan observed that Muslims cannot compete with the world unless they get better education.

For this, he said that he started to endeavored to provide Muslims better education.

Moreover, Iftikhar reiterated that Allama Iqbal dreamed of separate nation for Muslims and QuaideAzam Muhammad Ali Jinnah construed it as an independent state for Muslims.

Youth representatives said that the final destination of Kashmiri people is Pakistan.

They said that thousands of Kashmiri youngsters have given their red hot blood for freedom movement and we (Youth in AJK) have to raise voice for them worldwide.

Arbab Ansar, Mudassar Akram Awan, Aqib Ali Haidri, Zeeshan Abbasi, Sammi Mughal, Qasim Kazmi Advocate, Ehtisham ul Haq, Abdur Razzaq, Nawaz Dar and other young representatives were present.

Earlier, they hoisted Pakistani flag, played national anthems and cut the cake on the occasion.
