Army, rescue teams shifting flood-hit people from Kachho villages: Sindh CM

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that Sindh Minister for Irrigation Sohail Anwar Syal and district administration were available in rain and flood-affected areas of Johi in Dadu district.

He said that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari had contacted him and asked him to help the people of flood hit area of Dadu district.

He said that Pak Army and rescue teams were shifting the flood-hit people from Kachho villages at safe place.

CM Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah was speaking with journalists at FP bund after visit at breach at RD-75 near Johi town on Sunday.

He said that provincial minister irrigation Sohail Anwar Syal and district administration were available at affected areas of Johi in Dadu district.

He said that PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari had contacted him and asked him to help the people of flood hit area of Dadu district.

He said that Pak Army and rescue teams were shifting the flood hit people from Kachho villages at safe places.

He said that the Meteorological Department has forecasted about weather and forecasting that the rains will fall along with costal belt like Thatta, Badin and informed dangerous positions in Karachi.

He said but this situation of rains had occurred in Johi and Kheer Thar ranges mountains since last day. He said that Sindh government was helping the stranded people in flood hit areas of Kachho in Dadu district.

He was accompanied by provincial minister Irrigation Sindh Sohail Anwar Syal, MPA Johi Syed Mohammad Salih Shah, commissioner Hyderabad Abbas Baloch, DC dadu, Raja Shahzaman Khuhro, Chief engineer Sukkur Barrage Irshad Ahmed Memon and Chief Engineer RBOD-II Syed Sardar Ahmed Shah and SE Dadu Mansoor Memon.

Pak Army rescue teams through boats and helicopters rescued 200 stranded people from flood hit villages of union council Sawaro, TR Khan, Wahi Pandhi, Drigh Bala, Chhinni, Pat Gul Mohammad of Kachho belt of taluka Johi. Pak army started to supply food to the affected villagers in flood hit areas.

Rescue teams of Pak army rescued people and brought them at FP bund near Johi and distributed food and drinking water among them.

Assistant Commissioner Johi, Dadu, Mohammad Ali Baloch said that Pak army rescue teams and district administration rescued the 200 people from various flood hit villages of Kachho belt in taluka Johi. He said that rescue teams through boats are continuing to rescue the people. He said that through Helicopters, Pak army teams supplied the ration and food items at flood hit villages.

PAKISTAN TAHREEK E INSAF CENTRAL SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT HALEEM ADIL SHAIKH. Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Central Vice President and parliamentary party leader in Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh on Sunday has said that no one came to save the flood-hit people of Kachho, Dadu but only brave Pakistan army reached spot and rescuing the people.

Haleem Adil Sheikh reached Johi area of district Kachho and visited the flooded villages and FP bund and met the affected families.

Local PTI leaders Sardar Hakim Ali Noohani, Rajib Shahani, Sardar Ashiq Zaunr, Murtaza Shah Jilani, Ameenullah Moosakhel, Ali Mirjat, Muhammad Ali Shah and Ghulam Haider Siyal accompanied him.
