Zardari instructs Sindh govt to start relief work on emergency basis

ISLAMABAD: Former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari expressed deep grief and sorrow over the deaths of about a dozen people due to rain in Sindh.

He also directed the Sindh government to start relief efforts on emergency basis in the affected areas. He appreciated Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah’s visit to Karachi city and instructed the party leaders and workers, including MNAs and MPAs, to take part in relief efforts and play an active role in solving basic problems of public.

He also instructed to take all necessary actions to prevent spread of diseases due to rain. He condoled with the affected families who lost their dear ones due to rain related incidents.
