PESHAWAR: All Municipal workers union of the four town of Peshawar staged protest demonstration against the WSSP decision to of proposed privatization and warned to launch movement against the decision.
The protest demonstration was led by Union President Riaz Khan and former General Secretary Mohammad Fazil. Holding banner and placards the protesters also hold sit near WSSP office. He said three years back employees of Municipal Corporation has been transferred to a private organization and now government planning to completely privatize these employees.
The protesters also hold Quran Khwani near WSSP office and prayed to God Almighty to end this government. The protesters said that if the decision was not averted then the employees would convert the city into heap of garbage for which government would be responsible.
