Marzia Al-Zahra becomes Pakistan Railways’ first woman Station Manager

Syeda Marzia Al-Zahra has become the first female officer who has been given the additional charge of station manager at Lahore railway station.

Assistant Transport Officer Lahore Syeda Marzia Al-Zahra has replaced the additional charge of station manager Lahore from station master Lahore Cantt Younis Bhatti. Railway sources said that Syeda Marzia Al-Zahra has become the first female station manager of Pakistan Railways.

On the other hand, the Railway Sampars Union has called for a protest against the appointment of CSP officer in the post of the station manager.

Union Central Chairman Muhammad Irfan, while expressing reservations over the appointment, said that if the notification was not cancelled, the union would protest.
