Zardari condemns Quetta blast

ISLAMABAD: President Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari Monday strongly condemned the bomb blast in Civil Hospital, Quetta that left dozens innocent people killed and many injured.

Condemning the blast and the killing and maiming innocent people, Asif Zardari said that incidents of terrorism and militancy have not and will not weaken the resolve to fight the militants to the finish, said a press release issued by party secretariat.

He said that the attacks on innocent citizens and the bloodletting of innocent people cannot and must not be allowed to go on with impunity. Asif Zardari called for immediate, decisive and credible measures to stop this barbarism.

He said that PPP will not leave the people on the mercy of terrorists and will fight the militants with the help of the people. Former president also offered his deepest condolences to the bereaved families, prayed for eternal peace to those who lost their lives and speedy recovery for injured.
