FAISALABAD: Punjab Emergency Service Rescue 1122 has established 18 flood relief camps across Jhang district to provide quick emergency services to the people affected by floods.
District Emergency Service Officer Rescue 1122, Dr Tariq Saeed, said that Rescue 1122 has also set up Rescue Points at 11 places in the district including tehsils such as Jhagn Urban, Billo Shah Bal, Kot Khaira, Khanuana, Meerni Wala, Garh Maharaja Urban, Garh Maharaja Rural, Ahmad Pur Sial City, Dabba Kalan, Dubba Rajbana and Havaili Bahadur Shah.
He said that 47 Rescuers, including officers of District Emergency Service, have been deputed in these areas. The rescuers are provided with 18 boats and other necessary equipment for rescuing the flood affected people.
