IHC moved for appointment of legal representative for Kulbhushan

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has fixed for hearing petition filed by the government for appointment of legal representative for Indian spy Kulbhushan in connection with implementation of verdict of International Court of Justice (ICJ). A bench has been constituted under Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Athar Minallah to hear the case on August 03. The federation through defence secretary and judge advocate general GHQ have been made respondents in this petition. The petitioner told the court Kulbhushan had refused to file petition against his sentence. The petitioner also took the plea Kulbhushan cannot appoint his lawyer in Pakistan without the assistance of India. India is too avoiding to enjoy facility of ordinance. The petitioner prayed the court to appoint legal representative of Kulbhushan. Court should give order so that Pakistan obligation could become fulfilled as per ICJ verdict.
