ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has selected 45 talented players for an Under-18 hockey camp, scheduled to take place from August 15 here at Naseer Bunda Hockey Stadium. A PHF spokesman said Tuesday that during the National Under-18 Hockey Championships in Islamabad, 103 talented boys were selected for the training camp. “But after three phases, the number of boys has been reduced to 45 now,” he added.
Following players have been called for next phase of training camp:
Goalkeepers: Adil Rao, Waqar Younis, Waseemuallah Khan, Aimal Khan, Shahibuddin, Akmal Hussain and Awais Rasheed
Defenders-Midfielders: Amjad Ali, Faisal Younis, Ibrar Arshad, Samiullah Khan, Mohammad Mubashir, Usman Bashir, Waqas Ahmed, Rizwan Ali, Sulaiman Shaukat, Eisa Khan, Junaid Rasool, Mohibullah, Ali Raza and Sohail Sheraz
Forwards: Khairullah Shah, Awais Arshad, Mohib, Shahbaz Khan, Asad Arshad, Aamir Ali, Qazi Muazzamur Rehman, Roman Khan, Moin Shakeel, Faizan Alvi, Junaid Manzoor, Adeel Latif, Ahmad Nadeem, Afraz, Abdulla Babar, Ali Aziz, Syed Zain Ijaz, Amjad Rehman, Murtaza Yaqoob, Waqar Ali, Arslan Haider, Mohammad Bilal, Zulqarnain and Naveed Alam.
