SEHWAN SHARIF: An assistant sub-inspector (ASI) was gunned down on Tuesday by unidentified men in Sehwan Sharif. According to reports, ASI Niaz Hussain was going in a police mobile when unidentified men opened fire on the vehicle near Jahaz Chowk. The ASI was critically injured and was rushed to a hospital in Hyderabad, where the doctors pronounced him dead. The security personnel conducted a search operation and apprehended four suspects. The suspects were identified as Atta Muhammad Rind, Rano Machi, Shafeeh and Mithal, while search for one suspect, Ghulam Hussain, was underway.
