QUETTA: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday shunned his differences with the ruling party and expressed unity against terrorists following the Quetta blast, which claimed over 70 lives and left more than 100 injured on Monday.

“Our determination has got stronger against enemies. Not just our security forces but entire nation will defeat the terrorists now,” he said while talking to media persons during his visit to Quetta to inquire after health of the injured and condole with families of the victims.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak and senior PTI leader Jehangir Tareen were also present on the occasion.

“We have no political difference over the incident of Quetta. I cannot blame anybody for the dismal incident for we only have just sketchy information about who is behind it or what is the motive of this attack,” the PTI chairman said, adding that the entire nation was committed to hunt down terrorists until decisive end, as such elements were not just enemies of Islam but humanity as well.

To a query, he called for a strong intelligence gathering and policing system to avoid such incidents in future.
