A press release noted that the festival was organised in as many as four cities of Morocco–Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech and Agadir–on August 7, 2016. The festival was attended by scores of people, who were greeted with Pakistani mango chunks as well as juices. This event was organised in collaboration with Marjane Hypermarket, which is one of the biggest retail chains in Morocco. The festival was adorned with an elaborate display area in several shopping malls, which featured advertisements and promotion materials related to mangoes.

These events received an exceptionally positive response from the public who loved the delicious Pakistani mangoes, claiming them to be far superior than any other mangoes. They also demanded that this produce should be made available in the Moroccan market.

The main corporate event of the Festival was held in a five-star local hotel at Casablanca on August, 8, 2016, which was attended by the eminent members of the Moroccan business community as well as several government officials and media personnel. Ministry of Agriculture of Morocco was also seen collaborating with the Embassy of Pakistan by the participation of various representatives of local Agriculture Chambers of Commerce. Pakistani mangoes reigned this event as well as guests were served with fresh mango fruit, mango juices and mango milkshakes. Promotional video on Vibrant Pakistan and a documentary on Pakistani Mangoes was also seen playing during the event. Guests were also apprised regarding Pakistani mangoes by elaborate brochures and newsletters printed in French language. Each guest was also gifted with mangoes and promotional t-shirts and caps.

Pakistani Ambassador to Morocco also spoke on the occasion and encouraged the business community to explore all possibilities of importing Pakistani mangoes. The business community showed a great interest in Pakistani mangoes and inquired about various aspects of mangoes production. They were, hence, very hopeful that the demand of Pakistani mangoes would soon be generated in Morocco through events like these and then enable them to import delicious mangoes from Pakistan.
