LAHORE: National Junior Badminton Championship will start at WAPDA Sports Complex here on Thursday (today). “Teams from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Sindh, Punjab, Islamabad, Azad Kashmir, FATA, Gilgat Baltistan, WAPDA and KPT will feature in the country’s premier junior badminton activity,” said a spokesman for the Pakistan Badminton Federation on Wednesday. He said more than 170 young players would display their talent in the U-15 (Boys), U-17 (Boys and Girls) and U-19 (Boys and Girls) events. The Secretary General WAPDA Sports Board will inaugurate the event at 12:00 noon.
