Space-x delays launch of the BulgariaSat-1 satellite for the third time this month. Now it is believed that the Falcon 9 rocket will be launched on Monday, next week and if all goes as planned then the Falcon 9 rocket will carry the satellite to space at 02:10 PM.
The BulgariaSat-1 is the country’s first geostationary telecommunications satellite.
Previously the delay was blamed on the June 3rd resupply mission to the International space station. Space-x has not issued a statement to predict weather there will be more delays in the future or not. However the officials for Bulgaria Sat, country’s largest pay-tv has blamed weather conditions for the delay of BulgariaSat-1 on June 15th.
Before this delay space-x had also experienced a delay on March 30th, 2017. Moreover Space-x has planned 3 more rocket launches this month.
The country’s first online geostationary telecommunications satellite, BulgariaSat-1 has a proposed life of 15 years which depends on the workload. John Celli, CEO of Space Systems Loral says that Space-x’s efforts for reusability are highly laudable and are the future of the satellite market.
Previously Elon Musk’s Space-X successfully sent one of its used Falcon 9 rockets into the space, making Space-X the only company to do this. Talking about putting the old rockets to use Elon Musk said “It means you can fly and re-fly an orbital class booster, which is the most expensive part of the rocket. This is going to be, ultimately, a huge revolution in spaceflight.”
