ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Interior has forwarded a letter to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to suspend cellular services in Islamabad on the occasion of Independence Day.
The mobile phone services will remain suspended for six hours from 6:00am till 12:00pm on Sunday as part of the security measures for Independence Day celebrations in the federal capital.
The government has implemented similar service suspensions in the past to avert any untoward incident.
