‘200 suspects arrested in Punjab raids’

ISLAMABAD: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has said the entire nation was valiantly fighting a successful war against terrorism and achieved immense success in this regard.

“The Pakistan army has eliminated terrorism from the country and destroyed terrorists’ hide-outs from South and North Waziristan Agencies through operations,” he said and informed that some 200 accused were arrested in various operations and raids in Punjab.

He strongly condemned the attack on Lawyers in Quetta and said the law enforcement agencies had rendered unprecedented sacrifices in war against terrorism. Terrorism was a global issue, as terror attacks were occurred in France and other countries as well, he added.

Sanaullah said the government had taken strong actions and measures to completely eradicate terrorism from the country and subsequently the incidents of terrorism were declined to a great extent.
