ISLAMABAD: Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz said that Pakistan has decided to propose an India-exclusive dialogue on Kashmir, and added that Pakistan Foreign Secretary would be writing a letter to his Indian counterpart in this regard.

During a media briefing here on Friday, Aziz said Kashmir would be on top of the agenda of Pakistan during the forthcoming session of the UN General Assembly. “India is not willing to restore comprehensive dialogue, but Pakistan wants a dialogue with India only on the Kashmir issue. If Kashmir is not a problem, than why is India keeping 700,000 soldiers in Indian held Kashmir.

Sartaj Aziz said Pakistan had written to the UN Human Rights Council on human rights violations in Indian-held Kashmir. In response to it, the UN Human rights body conveyed to India that it wished to send a fact-finding mission to the region.

He said that there were some clues about the involvement of TTP’s splinter group in Quetta attack.

Sartaj Aziz said that it seemed that Afghan intelligence agency NDS in collaboration with Indian intelligence agency RAW was indirectly supporting such groups. He said that there was a need to implement an understanding between Pakistan and Afghanistan for closer coordination and cooperation between ISI and NDS. He said that every day, about 40,000-50,000 people crossed the Pak-Afghan border.

On Indian involvement in subversive activities in Pakistan, Aziz said that arrested RAW agent Kulbhushan Yadev was being investigated as he was not alone and was working through a network. He said that Pakistan had already shared a dossier on the issue with the UN and the international community. In the dossier, more information would be updated that would be presented next month in an annual session of UN General Assembly.

He said according to his information, the Indian Prime minister would not attend UNGA session, so there was no chance of a ‘sidelines’ meeting between the two prime ministers.
