FBR extends dates for monthly filing of sales tax/FED

KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Friday has extended the dates of submission of monthly sales tax and Federal Excise Duty (FED) returns for July 2016 up to August 22, 2016.

Karachi Tax Bar Association had requested the FBR for the necessary extension in filing dates of monthly Sales Tax and FED returns of July 2016. Therefore, the FBR has extended the dates for Sales Tax returns E-Filing of Annexure-C in Sales Tax for the month of July 2016 from August 10, 2016 to August 15, 2016. Date for payment of Sales Tax for the month of July 2016 has been extended from August 15, 2016 to August 18, 2016.

Date for E-Filing of Sales Tax Return has been extended from August 18, 2016 to August 22, 2016. Similarly, as far as FED concerned, date for E-Filing of Annexure-1 in FED for the month of July 2016 has been extended from August 10, 2016 to August 15, 2016.
