ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad District Court on Saturday (IDC) sent two accused persons on physical remand as they are involved in cyber crimes. The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) highlighted that the accused were involved in highlighting the campaign of vilification against the judiciary in different electronic and social media circles.
The agency appraised the court that the suspects had also been running a fake account on the social media through which they uploaded and transmitted material containing objectionable and disgraceful contents to the general public to humiliate, defame and disrespect the honorable judges of the supreme judiciary. On that complain an inquiry number RE-50/16 was registered and consequent to the inquiry it transpired that Haseeb Ahmed and Ch Mushtaq illegally, unauthorisedly and dishonestly, with malafide intention and ulterior motives, started the campaign vilification against the superior judiciary. The District Court has approved a two-day remand of the accused on Saturday.
