ASUS has confirmed that its gaming-oriented ROG Phone 3 will be launched on July 22. For the mobile gamers anxiously awaiting the launch of a new and improved smartphone optimized for playing on the go, the wait will soon be over. Last week, ASUS published a countdown leading up to the launch of the next generation ROG Phone: the ROG Phone 3.

Thus far, the company revealed close to nothing about the handset, though the fact that it is the next iteration of its highly regarded gaming phone, a handful of specs and features are expected including a refresh rate of at least 120Hz and a Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset.

The company will likely keep the details of the ROG Phone 3 under wraps until it launches in a few weeks, but rumors have already been circulating the web about what specs to expect. Those interested in watching the launch can tune in at 11am UTC-4 on July 22.
