LAHORE: A new franchise of Gloria Jean’s Coffees opened at the Pace Circle, Hyatt Regency on Sunday with an aim to expand the café’s unique services among coffee lovers and residents of airport area.

The grand opening ceremony of Gloria Jean’s was attended by former senator Ammar Ahmed Khan, First Capital Group CEO Mian Ehsanul Haq, Gloria Jean’s Owner Ali Athar, renowned models and a large number of local residents. Senator Ammar Ahmed Khan participated as the chief guest and cut the red ribbon on the occasion.

Gloria Jean’s is famous for offering different varieties of blends, flavoured and decaffeinated whole-bean coffees, as well as espresso and mocha chillers, gourmet iced-chocolates, fruit chillers, Italian dolce chiller, iced tea, hot chocolate drinks and much more.

Talking to Daily Times, ex-senator Ammar Ahmed Khan expressed his best wishes for Gloria Jean’s and said that it was a wonderful place for a get-together with friends and family. He said, “I hope Gloria Jean’s serves healthy and quality food among people and wins trust of its visitors.”

Gloria Jean’s Owner Ali Athar told Daily Times there was no coffee shop within eight kilometres radius around the airport, adding that the decision behind opening this franchise was taken after observing the demand of coffee lovers in the area. He said that coffee is best for health, heart and body fitness, as it provided energy to the body and helped lose weight. “We are strictly following quality food standards,” he added.
