Fawad Khan wins award at film festival in Melbourne

Actor and singer Fawad Khan has won hearts across Pakistan and even across the border in India, but the heartthrob has also winning awards now.

Fawad Khan won the Diversity Award for his film ‘Kapoor & Sons’ at the 2016 Indian Film Festival which is being held in Melbourne, Australia. Later, he also presented the award to his ‘Khoobsurat’ co-star actress Sonam Kapoor for her film ‘Neerja’. The award for Best Film also went to ‘Kapoor & Sons’ which was collected by actor and producer Rishi Kapoor.
Khan also said that he was lucky to be part of Bollywood, but he want improve his dancing skills.

“I have been very lucky for what I have been offered so far. My boundaries are limited to number of films that are offered to me and I am pretty open and receptive to material that is offered to me,” he said while speaking on the sidelines of the festival.
“I swear to God, I wish I could dance or sing. I watch these people and I wish I could move like them. But I am having a great time here.” Khan will also hold a masterclass before the screening of his film with director Shakun Batra. The festival will be held this Saturday and will show over 50 films in 17 languages. Khan’s next Bollywood film is ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ in which he has an extended cameo appearance along with compatriot model-turned-actor Imran Abbas, and stars actor Ranbir Kapoor and actress and producer Anushka Sharma. The film is set to release on October 28.
