PPP wins three chairmen, vice chairmen seats in Shikarpur

SHIKARPUR: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP)’s candidate Agha Masihuddin Khan Durani, brother of Agha Sirajuddin Khan Durani the sitting speaker of Sindh Assembly was elected as chairman and PPP Amir Ali Kamariyo was elected as vice Chairman of District Council Shikarpur.

Other PPP candidates Shoaib Mehmood Siyal, Mukhtiar Ahmed Udho, Dilawar Khan Tareen and Pardeep Kumar withdrew their candidature for chairman and vice chairman District Council Shikarpur.

On the other hand PPP candidate Babar Ahmed Sanjrani on the slot of Chairman and Khalid Hussain Shaikh on the slot of vice-Chairman for Municipal Committee Shikarpur were elected unopposed after the withdrawal of candidates including Faraz Imtiaz Shaikh, Muhammad Imran, Faraz Shaikh, Wasemuddin Siddiqui, Irshad Ahmed Shaikh, Shamsuddin Shaikh all PML-F candidates and Muhammad Peeral Sanjrani, Agha Abdul Nabi Khan Pathan, Babar Ahmed and Agha Muhammad Issa Khan of PPP.

PPP candidates were elected as Chairman and vice Chairman after unconditional compromise with PML-F candidates in the public interest.
