Corona virus: Pakistan receives financial assistance of $1.5bn

Pakistan has received financial assistance of 1.5 billion dollars during the current week for development policy and containment of corona virus epidemic . According to statement issued by ministry of finance financial assistance from three international institutions have been received by Pakistan to deal with Corona virus epidemic and development policy. This assistance has been provided by World Bank, Asian Development Bank and Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank. The amount has been deposited in State Bank of Pakistan. This assistance will be spent for extending assistance to people infected by corona virus, health care staffers, provisions of medicines, ventilators and purchase of others health care related items.
