Lemon prints and floral motifs a big hit with Eid-wear shoppers

LAHORE: The exhibition of Charme by Aleena Raza for So Kamal was held at a local restaurant on Monday. The exhibition was attended by socialites and bloggers.

Aleena Raza has done it again with this Eid collection! She has tried to keep up with current trends at affordable prices. The collection featured appliqué and Swarovski embellishments in flowy prints, matching separates, trendy jackets and maxi shirts in bright hues.

Now that our calendars have almost flipped over to the month of September, Eid shopping is officially in full swing. My favourite piece was an off-the shoulder ensemble, which had glittery beaded insects patched on the tunic – very Gucci-like.

Prints like lemon and pineapple are all the rage right now, so why not add one to your wardrobe? The brand is on the same track as Dolce & Gabbana. These prints would look pretty good hanging in your closet, don’t you think?

While talking exclusively to Daily Times, Raza said, “I was inspired by the English Royals. The adda work – the cuts are all very regal and give a vintage touch designed for a modern day fashionista. My collection celebrates today’s woman, who is energetic and vibrant and deserves to stay fashionable without breaking the bank.”

There was a lot of variety and my verdict is that the collection is very marketable and practical! New season, new clothes — seems like a good enough excuse to splurge, right?
