LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has demanded the government to evolve a ‘national plan’ for eradication of load shedding, unemployment and poverty, besides providing basic healthcare and education facilities to the citizens.

He was addressing the Imran Tiger Force (ITF) convention, which was attended by ITF Punjab President Rashid Riaz, ITF Sindh President Saraj Khan along with other leaders and party workers on Tuesday. On the occasion, Sarwar also awarded hand notifications to the office bearers.

The PTI leader said no nation could progress without education, health and peace, but unfortunately in Pakistan, hospitals and schools have been dismantled while people have been left at hands of terrorists, dacoits, and thieves. On the other hand, he added, the government of PML-N had not taken any wise step to address the grievances of people.

He said that several protests are launched everyday by the citizens against load shedding, but the rulers were constantly giving false assurances and deadlines, which was tantamount to fraud with the innocent citizens.

The former governor said that the rulers have failed to provide basic human necessities to people, adding that when basic facilities would not be provided, crime rate in the province would escalate. He said that the corruption had become a cancer of the society due to incompetent rulers, adding that PTI has started the accountability movement to get rid of corruption in the country.

Addressing the convention, Syed Rashid Riaz said that PTI workers were fighting for a collective cause and would not avoid any sacrifice to bring change in the country. He said time was not far when corrupt regime would be be eradicated permanently and Imran Khan would become the prime minister.
