Alleged Afghan terrorist apprehended in Hangu

HANGU: The Hangu Police on Friday claimed to have apprehended an alleged Afghan terrorist during a raid in Hangu.

On a tip-off, the police on Friday raided at a hideout in Mamu Banda area in Hangu and apprehended an Afghan National Ameen Jan. The police also recovered two kalashnikovs, three rifles, four hand-grenades, two 7mm rifles, various kinds of 500 cartridges, a pistol and four daggers.

The suspect has been shifted to undisclosed location for further investigation.
