ISLAMABAD: The Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) has launched its Pakistan Remittance Initiative (PRI) scheme under the head of “home remittance” from August 17, 2016 to facilitate overseas Pakistanis.
This initiative has enabled the bank to give an opportunity to its valued customers to receive money from abroad.
ZTBL President Syed Talat Mahmood stated this at a launch of the PRI at the ZTBL Head Office, which was attended by the presidents of both ZTBL and the Bank of Punjab (BoP), along with senior executives of the banks. In order to launch this facility, an agreement was made between the ZTBL and the BoP on April 1, 2016 for collaboration in home remittance facilitation for overseas Pakistanis.
Syed Talat Mahmood also said that the bank had taken more and more steps for facilitation of its customers, and the Pakistan Remittance Initiative was one of them.
