HYDERABAD: Hyderabad police has claimed to have nabbed two alleged terrorists involved August 14,Hyderabad bomb blast at new bridge. Eight persons were injured in the blast.

Both arrested accused were produced before media during a press conference by SSP Hyderabad Irfan Ali Baloch. He informed Noor Hassn Bhucho and Masroor Thebo belonged to Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan and has hailed from Larkana.

He said police recovered 11 kilograms bomb explosive material, one TT pistol and 5 live bullets from their possession. SSP told that the arrested terrorists have links with India spy agency Research and Analysis Wing.

He said another group Rehman Pirzado and Shabbir Mallah had escaped during raid. He said the activists of Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz (JSMM) were involved in earlier attacks on Rangers in Karachi, Matiari and Chinese nationals. He told JSMM like other terrorist groups were attempting to target Pak China Economic Corridor. He said JSMM was having a network in Hyderabad, Jamshoro and Malir in Karachi.

SSP clarified that three terrorists killed in Hyderabad few days back during bank robbery belonged to another terrorist group. JSMM is a separate party than Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) which was rather peaceful group.

JSQM activists were not working for JSMM and regarding threats to lawyers and journalists in wake of Quettatragedy, SSP said both communities were vulnerable but no immediate danger was ahead.

However he said police and security agencies have applied tight security arrangements. He said both illegal and legal arms are dangerous for peace. To a question he said the weapons and bombs used by terrorists of banned organisations and JSMM were different.

Arrested Masroor Thebo is a senior leader of JSQM and Noor Hassan Bhucho district general secretary (Bashir Qureshi group). Both were arrested few days back from Mori Mangar and Hyderabad. But police has claimed to have arrested them from JSQM office in Qasimabad. Various groups of Jeay Sindh including JSQM were followers of GM Syed’s non violence movement. Senior leader of JSQM Dr Niaz Kalani has condemned the arrest of his party workers by declaring them terrorists and said it was a drama staged by SSP Hyderabad. He said they were followers of GM Syed and history of their struggle has remained peaceful and non violent.
