PESHAWAR: Former federal minister Azam Khan Hoti’s wife Shamim Kiyani claimed that a girl, Jamira Khan, by cheating NADRA has been registered as daughter of her late husband. The widow of Hoti told Peshawar Civil Court of that Jamira’s mother Humaira Khan neither married to Azam Khan nor she gave birth to any of his child. Shamim in her application claimed that these two ladies are associating themselves to Hoti family to take share in her late husband’s property. She pleaded before the court to stop Humaira Khan from using name of late Hoti as her daughter’s father. Shamim Kiyani added that during NADRA’s verification campaign she came to know about this fresh addition in her family list. She asserted that her late husband’s name is being used illegally and it is also against the Sharia. Shamim further said a decree, which was issued by concerned department, has declared her legal widow of Azam Khan Hoti. She said that Humaira never married to Azam Hoti but if it is assumed then according to medical report Hoti was not able for child birth in 1993, added that medical certificate is attached with the court evidences. She said that Humaira could not produce suspected Nikah-Nama to any court to prove her marriage with Hoti. Shahmim Kiyani also claimed that Humaira Khan is introducing Jamira Khan, who is daughter of her ex-husband, as daughter of Azam Khan Hoti at facebook and social meetings. She said that Humaira has been mentioning date of her alleged marriage with Azam Hoti on June 2011 while age of her daughter Jamira Khan is about 11 years. She said that NADRA did not verify authentic documents and mentioned Hoti’s name as her father illegally in Form-B. She requested the court to correct Jamira’s School data and other official documents.
