One killed as coach hits donkey cart

SHIKARPUR: A villager was killed in a collision between commuter coach and donkey-cart near village Haji Khuwasti Brohi at Indus highway in the limits of Khanpur Police Station on Saturday.

As per details, the donkey cart was hit by speeding commuter coach, which was coming from opposite direction. As a result of the accident a villager who was traveling on donkey-cart identified as Ghous Bakhsh Brohi died on the spot while passenger coach driver escaped away from place of incident, leaving his coach at roadside. Police rushed on the spot and shifted the body of the deceased to Khanpur Taluka Hospital for an autopsy. The dead body of deceased was handed over to his relatives after conducting postmortem examination.
