ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Sports Complex (ISC) has turned into security risk for the players and the staff members amid the reports that unauthorised persons have started residing in the building in name of players.

Sources told Daily Times that high-ups of ISC have provided residences to the unauthorised persons in the name of players due to personal terms without obtaining security clearance. ISC authorities are not entitled to provide residence to Pakistan PCB personnel. This way ISC has become a security risk.

Presently PCB has allowed players of under-19 Abbottabad to stay in ISC illegally. The ISC authorities have neither taken pain to obtain security clearance chit but also have not investigated if the persons who have acquired residences on the name of PCB are genuine players or otherwise. Sports Complex DDG Habib Shah while admitting about no security clearance of these persons said the entire responsibility rests with the association.
