SIALKOT: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will perform foundation stone laying ceremony of 89 kilometres long Sialkot-Lahore Motorway at Saahowala-Sambrial today (Monday).
This was stated by Federal Minister for Defence, Khawaja Asif while talking to the newsmen at PML-N House Sialkot on Sunday.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would address a big public meeting there, he said.
Khawaja Asif said the golden era of Sialkot’s socio-economic and human development would begin on Monday, as the mega project of Sialkot-Lahore Motorway would change
the economic destiny besides brining in strong industrial base in the region.
Later, Asif held an open kutchery at PML-N House, Paris Road Sialkot.
He listened to the problems of people and issued orders for the redressal of their grievances at the earliest.
Local MPAs Mansha Ullah Butt, Ch Muhammad Ikram, PML-N leaders Babar Khan, Mian Ashfaq, PML-N (Youth Wing) Sialkot President Muhammad Farooq Ghuman and PML-N Women Wing Sialkot President Nusrat Jamshaid Malik were also present on the occasion.
