Interfaith harmony a must for Muslims

ISLAMABAD: The promotion of interfaith and inter-religion harmony is a must to bring Muslims out of social crisis and terrorism, said Dr Husnal Amin, the executive director of the Iqbal International Institute for Research and Dialogue (IRD).

He said that it was the need of the hour to promote the teachings of the poet of the East Allama Dr Muhammad Iqbal, who conceived the idea of a separate homeland for Muslims. He added that the challenges faced by Muslims would be tackled in a better way following the golden saying of the great philosopher to present the soft image of Islam globally.

“IRD was playing a key role for the promotion of tolerance in the society, awareness, safety of rights and to eliminate the reservation about polio campaign in the far flung areas,” he informed.
