46 Pakistanis test positive for COVID-19 upon return from Afghanistan

Forty six Afghanistan-returned Pakistani citizens were identified corona positive on the last day. The district administration official told that previous week after brought them back from Afghanistan and quarantined in various centre in Landi Kotal, test samples of 278 suspected had been collected and sent to laboratory test. As per the test results, announced by the health officials’ last day 46 persons out of 278 were found COVID 19 effectees. The official told that all the COVID 19 patients were admitted to isolation ward, arranged in headquarter hospital, Landi Kotal while the rest of 232 corona negative persons were allowed to go to their respective districts across the country. All arrangements had been finalized to treat and facilitate the corona patients in the hospital, the official told. According to the health department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa so far 159 COVID 19 cases have found positive in Khyber while three deaths have been confirmed. It further informed that a total of 39 corona patients have recovered.
