Tourists were stopped from visiting the coldest tourist place Gorakh Hill Station by the Gorakh Hill Station Development Authority.
Due to spreading the fear of Coronavirus, GHDA stopped the tourists to visit Gorakh Hill station. Chairman GHDA, PPPMNA Sardar Rafiq Ahmed Jamali said that GHDA was following the directives of Sindh government due to Coronavirus outbreak, the visitors were not allowed to visit.
He said that at current position, the repair work of damages parts of GHDA was under way and it was not able to visit till completing the repair works. He claimed the till completing repair works and with permission of Sindh government, they will be allowed to visit.
Speaking with this correspondent, Manzoor Ali Kanasaro Director General GHDA said that it was banned already government for gathering of people at tourist place due to Coronavirus outbreak. He said that a big number of people/ tourists arrived at Gorakh hill station and they raised issue to supply them facilities. He said that the leakages happened among pipes of water supply at top of Gorakh hill station at different places. He said that motors of water supply were also needs to repair. He said that repair work of pipes of water supply was going on. He said that repair of motors of water supply were also under way. He said that total 110 employees related with GHDA were sacked following the directives of court which were appointed in 2008. He said that court directed said that they were not followed according procedures. He said that at current position few employees were appointed on daily wages hence GHDA was facing numerous issues. He said that till completing all repairs works, the tourists are not allowed to visit Gorakh Hills station.
However, Since Eid day, a big number of local tourists arrived at GHDA when crowed increased, the GHDA stopped them to visit.

“There was not a single facility available at Gorakh hill station and even they purchased a bottle of water of 1.5 liters on rupees 200″ said that Ali Khan a tourist”.
“They were barred to visit GHDA when they raised issue of facilities” “said Jan Mohammad a tourist”.
Owners of hotels on call of Hotel association Dadu along with laborers working on hotels staged a demonstration before Dadu press club and demanded from government to allow them to open the hotels to following the SOPs.
Speaking press conference, the office bearers of hotel association Dadu, Mumtaz Arain, Ghous Jhatyal, Liaquat Soomro, Miskeen lund, Yameen Bhand, Naveed Shahani, Rajub Shaikh and Mithal Zounr said that due to closure of 250 hotels, total 8000 employees were jobless and they were facing starvation lives in Dadu city.
They said that 1700 hotels were closed in different parts of Dadu district which caused jobless of 100000 daily wages earners/ laborers.
They said that the businesses related with cloths, jewelers, industries, shops of wines were opened but business of hotels was closed.
They said that police had made it business as police was demanding 4000 to 5000 rupees per day to pay them per hotels for opening of hotels.
They said that the owners of the hotels were ready to follow the SOPs of the government due to Coronavirus out break but police was demanding cash and food to handover them for opening of hotel and restaurants.
They warned if the interfere of police would not be stopped, they would continue their strike. Hotel Association Dadu warned to the district administration, if they would not allow them to open hotels in city, they would start a drive against administration.
