Won’t let anybody speak against Pakistan: Nawaz

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif presided over a high-level meeting in the federal capital on Tuesday and praised security forces for maintaining law and order in Karachi.

Local media reported that Adviser to the Prime Minister on National Security Nasser Janjua briefed the PM on the meeting of the NAP implementation committee that was held on a day earlier. Janjua also briefed the Prime Minister on the various tasks that had been given to the relevant institutions. Nawaz Sharif, during the meeting, praised Rangers and law enforcement personnel on maintaining law and order in Karachi. The PM also offered full cooperation on behalf of the federal government to the provincial government in maintaining peace in Karachi. The participants of the meeting agreed on the point that no one should be allowed to disturb the peace of the city from abroad.

It was decided in the meeting that Pakistan’s interests, integrity and security will be protected at all costs.Participants of the meeting agreed that those who speak ill of Pakistan will have to pay the cost for it. The high-level meeting’s participants included Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Lt. Gen. Rizwan Akhtar, Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif and Adviser to the PM on National Security Nasser Khan Janjua, among others.On Monday, MQM chief Altaf Hussain had instigated his supporters to attack offices of TV channels via his address from London. Altaf Hussain delivered an anti-Pakistan speech and called upon his followers to attack TV channels for not providing him due coverage.
