ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday met with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif and both had discussion over the country’s security situation and other important issues.
Matters regarding the country’s internal and external security were also brought under discussion during the meeting. The two met after the session regarding implementation on the National Action Plan (NAP) took place as both had discussion about the Karachi operation as well.
Sources indicate that the army chief and prime minister resolved that the success achieved in Karachi operation shall not be lost under any cost.
