OGDCL after paying 9 billion and 7crore rupees to provincial and district government of Chakwal in respect of royalty has started many schemes of worth Rs 100 million on its own to boost and improve the lives of people residing in the vicinity of Rajian Oil Field, Kal Oil Field and Fimkasar Oil Field.

As per the detail, the OGDCL itself has started many scheme works worth 100 million rupees in the various areas of district Chakwal. The development works are including various social welfare schemes i-e drinking water, supply of free medicine, care of kids studying in the schools, provision of furniture to local schools, internship programme for college students, construction of Chaknaurang Road, establishment of eye camp for people dwelling nearby Chak Naurang Oil Field, repair and construction of Mangal Model Stadium district Chakwal, establishment of social welfare dispensary in Moza Latefal, free transport facility for school and colleges student, repair & construction of 1-8 Km bypass road from Poultry form Hassan to Haji Akbar village Dargah Rajgan, free eye camp for people residing in the surrounding of Rajian Oil Field, supply of different medical equipment for Rural Health Centre Dohaman, supply of free medicine in Rajian oil field area, supply of drinking water for Mahra village, Pelly works in deputy commissioner Chakwal office, provision of wheel chairs for deputy commissioner chakwal office, N-95 masks for people coming to DC Abdul Sattar Aiseni office, supply of PP Kits, Thermal Gun & supply of a huge quantity of ration for needy people and supply of 3000 surgical masks to DC Office.

It is worth to mention that an amount of 9,076 million royalty and 3.2 million rupees given to DC Chakwal is additional and not included in this amount. It is duty of DC Chakwal to use rest of the amount already transferred him especially for people residing peoples nearby OGDCL fields so that their lives could be improved and people could know that what role OGDCL is playing in reshaping their lives.
