Met Dept forecasts new spell of monsoon rain in different parts of country

ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has forecast a new spell of monsoon rain which will most likely cause rain with thunderstorms in different parts of the country, in the next three to four days.

According to details, the Met office stated that heavy rain with gusty winds are likely to occur in different parts of Sindh, Balochistan, Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Meanwhile, the Met office predicted that Kashmir and Islamabad will also receive monsoon rain with brief intervals. Heavy rainfall was experienced in different areas of Lahore on Thursday morning.

Concerned authorities have been advised to stay alert by the Met office, in case the heavy rainfalls wreak havoc.
