A special Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight brought over 250 stranded Pakistanis to Islamabad from Iraq on Saturday.

Upon landing at the airport, the flight was disinfected and the passengers went through a screening process and later were shifted to the quarantine facility. Passengers will be allowed to go to their homes if they test negative for coronavirus.

It is to be mentioned here that the Pakistani passengers have been stranded in various countries around the world due to the suspension of flight operation in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Earlier, a special PIA flight brought 253 stranded Pakistanis to Lahore from Toronto on Friday.
