PHA ordered to give face-lift to city

GUJRANWALA: Deputy Commissioner Amir Jaan has directed the PHA officers to take solid steps for beautification of the city, green belts from Qilla Chand to Aziz Cross would also be developed as soon as possible.

While addressing a meeting in his office he directed that encroachments from the roads and green belts may also be removed without receiving any pressure. MPA/Chairman PHA Toufeeq Butt while addressing the meeting showed his satisfaction over the recovery of 60 million and appreciated the performance of recovery staff. He announced one month basic pay as bonus for PHA staff and officers. Director administration PHA Ahad Dogar while his briefing told that development work of green belts from Qilla Chand to Aziz cross is under process which will be soon completed and expenditures of 50 million will be occurred at this project.
